Saturday Night Live has really been killing it lately with their choice of hosts and musical guests. How great was Kerry Washington? Lady Gaga? And Tina Fey? This season's shaping up to be great — and it looks like the winning streak is going to continue through at least next month. According to Hypable, Saturday Night Live has booked their December hosts, and it looks like it's pretty much going to be all your faves.
So, first up, there's going to be Paul Rudd hosting on Dec. 7, with musical guest One Direction. Now, putting aside the fact that 1D will be there, this episode has tons of promise — Paul Rudd is a pretty hilarious guy himself, and since he'll be promoting Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, there's the possibility that Will Ferrell or Ron Burgundy himself may show up for a quick cameo.
Next, for the Dec. 14 episode, John Goodman will be hosting to promote his new Amazon series Alpha House, with musical guest Kings of Leon. Goodman is pretty much a veteran SNL-hoster (he was imperative on the series during the hilarious Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky trial) — in fact, this will be his 13th time hosting the series. So, you know, he's got a good track record.
Finally, for the Dec. 21 episode — Jimmy Fallon will make a triumphant return to the show to host, only two months before he's set to take over The Tonight Show for Jay Leno in LA. The musical guest: Even better, Justin Timberlake is reportedly set to perform. Now, there is pretty much no way that this episode can go wrong, because Justin Timberlake's SNL episodes are always a home run.
In other words, SNL may just be appointment viewing next month.
