Laverne Cox Slays In A Sexy Jumpsuit At BET Awards

If one word could encapsulate Laverne Cox, it would be an inspiration. Not only for her valiant efforts and giant strides for the transgender community, but for looking good while doing it, too. She's become a killer style icon, wearing whatever she damn pleases, and we say *bless* for that, as Laverne Cox rocks a navy blue jumpsuit at the 2015 BET Awards.

Laverne is giving me some serious Jennifer Aniston at the Critics Choice Awards vibes. Both women pulled off a plunging neckline and used gold body chains to add some spice. I'm loving Cox's three-tiered necklace/body chain, which matches her bracelet and ring chain combo. I loved how she kept her jumpsuit simple, but added the gold accents to truly make her stand out. Plus, more room to dance in a jumpsuit!

To add more detail to her look, she paired the jumpsuit with a thin belt with a gold accent, which tied her whole getup together. As for a bag, she opted for a small clutch with more gold detailing. I'm always a fan of menswear, and adding that deep-V adds some femininity and definitely sexes up the look (let's be honest, she would spice up any look).

As for her hair, she went for the mermaid look, with loose, long waves that definitely played on the menswear aspect of her whole look. She kept her makeup simple with a subdued lip. As per usual, Laverne is making me green with envy. Only she can make a look a perfect blend of sexy and elegant.
