J.Law Makes The Case For The Little White Dress
Everyone from Carrie Bradshaw to Coco Chanel has made the case for the little black dress, but it's the LBD's fashionable opposite that has been moving into the spotlight lately. Jennifer Lawrence's little white dress has revived what could have been a dying trend just in time for summer. The LWD can easily be brushed off as boring or plain, but, thankfully, J.Law and her boho style swept in and totally made it seem worth wearing again.
It's all about the accessories when it comes to the LWD, and the Hunger Games star shows that personality is key when it comes to mastering this look. Go from simple to stand-out with the slip of a necklace or the wrap of a bracelet. Lawrence opted for a bohemian feel with her layered turquoise jewelry, which added just enough color to the plain white, a-line dress. She also had a bracelet on each wrist that tied the turquoise accessories theme together.
Lawrence's shoe choice made this outfit a truly boho chic ensemble. Although this look could be rocked with simple summer sandals or wedges, the actress choose a leather lace-up shoe with a chunky heel. Continuing the classic color scheme of the ensemble, she carried a Kenneth Cole leather bucket bag and finished her look off with some fabulous cat eye sunglasses.
This look is so easy to copy that it could quickly become your summer uniform. Dress the look up with bold accessories or down with a messy bun. The possibilities are truly endless with the little white dress.
