7 Fired 'Real Housewives' Bravo Should Bring Back
Although Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise isn’t presented as a competitive reality show like The Bachelorette, it kind of is. Watching the cast members interact is like having a ringside seat for a constant sparring match of who can out-scream, out-spend, out-fancy, out-bitch and out-Botox one another. All that drama ultimately leads to an unofficial crowning of a cast queen bee (such as RHOA’s resident rich bitch, NeNe Leakes), who rules until someone else dethrones her. Since that totally sounds like something I’d be down to watch, Bravo should consider this as a formal written plea for the network to produce a Housewives All-Star show that consists of Real Housewives who were allegedly fired.
I mean, why not? Other reality shows have their all-star versions and the Housewives have put in some serious work since the show’s first episode, and that includes the ones who were canned. As a proponent of recycling, it is my firm belief that one woman's reality TV trash very well could be another viewer’s treasure. Hopefully, Bravo takes my request seriously because I’ve already done the legwork and rounded up a list of seven potential cast members complete with reasons they should be invited to take part in this reality show that is already writing itself in my head.
1. Lynne Curtin (Real Housewives of Orange County)
Oof. I almost feel bad about listing her as an All-star prospect because Curtin's life after the Housewives hasn't exactly been easy street. But Curtin appeared on Season 10 of RHOC, so she'd probably be on board to return.
2. Sheree Whitfield (Real Housewives of Atlanta)
It would be hilarious to watch the other housewives shade Whitfield by pressing her about what happened with Chateau Sheree.
3. Danielle Staub (Real Housewives of New Jersey)
This was the precise sentiment expressed by Bravo when they fired Staub from RHONJ . But that still puzzles me because when did Staub ever not bring the drama? She's a shoo-in for Housewives All-Stars.
4. Kelly Bensimon (Real Housewives of New York)
But you don't have to be, Kelly. Your special brand of terrifying behavior is precisely what this hypothetical show needs.
5. Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)
I have no idea how it came to this either, Brandi. Maybe it had something to do with you slapping Lisa Vanderpump across the face and wine-throwing tendencies aside, I think Glanville would be the perfect addition to the other castaways.
6. Alexis Bellino (Real Housewives of Orange County)
Confusing, right? Basically, Bellino was allegedly fired because she had no storyline, but if she doesn't have any drama of her own making, these other Housewives will definitely bring it to her.
7. Carlton Gebbia (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)
All I have to say is, Gebbia is an actual witch.
So, what's up, Bravo? Are you ready to start filming or no?
