Pink hair is hardly a new fashion fad. Celebrities like Kate Hudson, January Jones, Kaley Cuoco and Julianne Hough have all rocked the candy-colored hue in the past, and now another celeb is hopping on the bandwagon. Ellie Goulding debuted subtle pink highlights, proving that pastel hair is still totally #trending. I was already a fan of the singer's newly dyed bleach blonde hair, but this splash of color makes it that much more cool.

The 28 year-old revealed her blush-colored tresses with a close-up shot on Instagram that she simply captioned, "Pink." The pale shade blends seamlessly with her super blonde locks making for a faint delicate effect that I am completely obsessed with.

While most other starlets went pink all over, Goulding kept her blush tresses minimal, opting for just a few pink streaks on one side of her mane. This new take on the ever popular trend definitely sets her apart from the rest of the rosy-haired ladies in Hollywood, don't you think? The singer has always been more of a rebellious trendsetter, so I'm not surprised by her choice. Maybe she'll go for rainbow-colored hair next? Here is to hoping! For now, we'll have to be satisfied with the single hue.
