It's been a long wait, but Tori Kelly's new album, Unbreakable Smile , is finally here. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter first grabbed my attention with her infectious Max Martin–produced single, "Nobody Love," back in February, and I’ve been hooked on her music ever since. Not only does the former YouTube sensation have an incredible voice (and when I say incredible, I mean incredible), she actually has something to say, and that’s really refreshing (and rare — especially for a new artist). Tori Kelly delivers her Unbreakable Smile lyrics with passion and honesty — no song sounds forced or fake. That's a skill that can't easily be taught. More often than not, that's a skill people are born with.

Unbreakable Smile isn't a perfect album by any means — there are definitely a few missteps along the way — but it's a tremendous showcase of Kelly's songwriting talent. According to the iTunes composer credits, she co-wrote all 16 tracks that appear on the LP's deluxe edition. That's pretty impressive! I look forward to watching her career continue to grow. Something tells me Kelly’s going to be around for a long, long time.
