If you were rooting for Britney Spears to find love again, well, I have some bad news. According to Us Weekly, Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol have broken up after dating for eight months. The couple was last seen together publicly together at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Oh no! That's a bummer, especially for those of us who really liked Ebersol and thought he might be "the one" for Spears. Per an Us Weekly source, Spears and Ebersol are indeed dunzo, but no further details have been provided about their alleged split. Bustle has reached out to Spears' rep, but has not yet heard back.
With that said, it appears their break might be real. How do I know this? Well, as Us Weekly points out, Spears deleted all of her Instagram photos with Ebersol. And after scrolling through her Instagram page, I could not find a single photo of Ebersol. Also (to double check), I even checked on that very first selfie Spears and Ebersol shared together via Instagram. Guess what? It's gone too! So, that's proof they're no longer a couple, right? I mean, why else would she delete those photos?
There's a chance that Spears just didn't like those pics and didn't want them on her Instagram account. However, to go all the way back to November 2014 to get rid of photos? Well, that's a bit odd if I do say so myself — and maybe proof of a bitter breakup. Also, I must point out that Spears still has photos of herself and Ebersol on Twitter. I can only assume she might get rid of those Twitter images, too.
