Life continues to throw tragic curveballs at Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian. According to Us Weekly, another friend of Lamar Odom, Bobby Heyward, has died at age 30 just days after the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's other friend, Jamie Sangouthai, passed away at 37. Heyward, a producer and writer, died on Saturday the L.A. County Coroners office confirmed to Us Weekly. The official cause of Heyward's death remains unknown, but Us claims it was due to a drug overdose.
Four days ago, Heyward took to Instagram to share his love for Sangouthai, his friend and "brother." He wrote, "#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt." (In the photo below, Heyward is on the back left.)
The news of his death comes less than a week after that of Sangouthai's, which was caused by a "bacterial skin infection necrotizing fasciitis" with "IV drug abuse" also being a factor, according to the L.A. County Coroner's Office which spoke to Us Weekly.
This is surely a tough time for Odom, Kardashian, and Sangouthai and Heyward's loved ones. Per Us, a source said that Odom is "beside himself" and that Kardashian was also close with Heyward.
The latter seems to be true, as the reality starlet took to Twitter, where she shared a cryptic and sad tweet, which may be related to Heyward's death:
Odom has yet to comment publicly, but there's no doubt this is a sad time for the former NBA player.
