Jenna Dewan Tatum's New Hairstyle Is Very Trendy

Unlike those hopping on the crazy-colored hair bandwagon this season, a few celebs are taking an alternate approach to their summer style. Celebrity stylist and CEO of Mane Addicts Jen Atkin debuted Jenna Dewan Tatum’s asymmetrical haircut and highlights Thursday, and if you thought the Step Up star couldn't get any prettier, you were so wrong.

As someone who has dyed their hair different shades of dark since the time she was 18 and secretly obsesses over the short hair phenomenon on a daily basis, I am totally in favor of the actress' new do. I’m all for swimming against the stream, and while the majority of people probably go for lightened strands during the summer months, Mrs. Tatum is guaranteed to stand out in a crowd — as if she doesn’t already — rocking her dark locks with only the slightest highlight.

The hairstyle itself is not such a drastic change to the star’s previous cut, but with a few inches off and one side slightly longer than the other, creating an awesome asymmetrical look, Tatum has officially joined stars like Lucy Hale, Britney Spears and Zoe Kravitz on the short-hair trend.
