Ariana Grande Just Teased A New Song On Snapchat

THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PEOPLE: Ariana Grande just teased a new song on Snapchat and it sounds flippin' fantastic. I guess the 21-year-old singer wasn't kidding around when told Capital FM recently that she just "can't resist sharing" material from her new album, Moonlight , with fans! Now, I'm not trying to start a stan war here, but I honestly think the two snippets Grande posted on Thursday morning sound a bit like something Mariah Carey might have released in the mid-to-late '90s (and I mean that as a compliment). Needless to say, I'm dying to hear the whole thing.

Grande's last album, My Everything, was released less than a year ago (and if you ask me, there are still songs left on it with single potential), but she's already shifted focus to her next project. I know it may seem like she's rushing things to some, but I actually think she's wise to "strike while the iron is hot," so to speak. The "Problem" hit-maker is one of the biggest pop stars in country at the moment — of course she should try to capitalize on that! As long as she's having fun and making new music because she wants to make new music, I say more power to her.

I'm so hyped for Moonlight right now, I can't even stand it. I don't know how I'm going to survive the wait that's ahead of us. Then again, we might not have to wait too too long for Grande to drop something new: she recently revealed to Capital FM that her upcoming LP is "coming together so quickly." Somebody hold me.
