Diane von Furstenberg uploaded a photo of model Georgia Salpa rocking the brand’s red and white silk Celeste Jersey Romper on Instagram last week, and it immediately caught my eye. Nodding my head, liking what I see, I continued to scroll down a bit in my feed, catching Lucy Hale in a ’70s style romper to celebrate her friends graduation. It had to be a sign: the romper trend was growing on me.

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with rompers. For starters, the majority of the ones I’ve seen in fast fashion stores like have always looked so young. Once I graduated college, I made a vow to myself that I would dress my age despite my baby face working against me in that department.

Basically, I’ve always seen rompers as the adult version of a onesie and they are so much effort when it comes time to use the ladies room. I own one romper and only one romper that I do wear, but note the fact that I didn't even buy it for myself.
