Quick question — what's the third best piece of news that a fan of That '70s Show could get on a random day in 2015? Obviously, the first is that the cast is reuniting to make more episodes, which sadly isn't true, but, don't despair, because two of them are reuniting for a brand new show! That's right, Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson are reuniting for The Ranch, a multi-camera comedy that will be getting the Netflix treatment. Woooo! So exciting! In case you've forgotten in the nine years since the show went off the air, Kutcher played adorable dummy Michael Kelso on the series, and Masterson played cynical stoner Steven Hyde, and they'll be reviving their buddy-buddy chemistry as two brothers running their family ranch in Colorado.
One of the brothers, played by Kutcher, is also a semi-pro football player coming back from a successful (albeit brief) career, so odds are pretty great that he doesn't know the first thing about running a ranch. Can't wait to see all the problems that dynamic causes. The show has been green-lit for 20 episodes, which will be divided in half and released as two seasons of 10 episodes each, coming to your screen of choice sometime in 2016.
I can't wait to see it, but, until then, let's kill time by checking in with the whole gang from That '70s Show to see how everybody would react to the news that two of their own will be reuniting on a new venture.
Kelso
"Haaaahahaha, can't believe I tricked another network into putting me on TV!"
Hyde
Smoking a bunch and showing us his butt in celebration? Yeah, that sounds about right.
Jackie
"Am I laughing hard enough to convince you that I don't care that neither my show boyfriend or my real life baby daddy thought to include me on this project?"
Donna
"Hell yeah, dudes, welcome to Netflix! I've got a pretty sweet deal over there called Orange Is The New Black, maybe you've heard of it?"
Fez
"I AM NOT CRYING YOU ARE CRYING I SAID GOOD DAY."
Eric
Honestly, have never been 100 percent sure what the deal is with Eric.
Red
"HOW DID I LET THIS HAPPEN."
Kitty
Withholding judgement until she actually sees the finished product, with a healthy dose of side eye. Hopefully, unlike in this gif, it won't be a nude side-eye.
