'Orange Is The New Black' Season 3 Inmates In Real Life Are Totally Glamorous — PHOTOS
Every time I sit down with Piper and the ladies of Litchfield on Netflix, I'm reminded of how stunning this group is. That's saying something too, when we're supposed to be seeing these women at their "worst" while incarcerated. What does the Orange Is The New Black cast look like when they're not in, well, orange?
To be quite honest, a lot of these ladies don't look all that different behind bars. I'm not against makeup and getting fancy, but all of these actresses are such giving performers that their inner beauty shines through. Plus, you can tell this cast of coworkers really gets along, and that kind of love has a glow of its own. Am I making you vomit? Check out the pictures. Would you recognize your favorite inmate on the street?

Taylor Schilling
Still no match for the glamour that is the actress who portrays her.

Red
Whether she’s running the kitchen or the “gardening” club, the matriarch is never seen without her dyed locks.

Kate Mulgrew
Mulgrew seems to have stuck to this look as well. It’s not a bad shade!

Suzanne Warren
“Crazy Eyes” has gone through some critical hair transformations over the past three seasons as Suzanne’s character evolves and her loyalties change.

Uzo Aduba
Award winning actress and Broadway star Uzo Aduba, on the other hand, likes to mix it up.

Daya Diaz
Daya and Bennett bonded over comic books…

Dascha Polanco
Which I like to think inspired the actress to try this incredibe look. Storm, anyone?

Taystee Jefferson
Taystee’s personality is bigger and brighter than any jumpsuit.

Danielle Brooks
But the actress’ bubbly nature is definitely not lost on the red carpet.

Poussey Washington
Poussey is relatively simple. She doesn’t like to draw too much attention to herself.

Samira Wiley
This is the complete opposite of Wiley, who is a total bombshell in even casual situations.

Gloria Mendoza
Gloria traded tan for white in one of Season 2’s biggest power struggles.

Selenis Leyva
IRL, the actress is much less neutral.

Lorna Morello
Am I the only one who wants an entire episode arc devoted to how she gets those curls in prison?
Image: Ursula Coyote/Netflix
Yael Stone
Morello may like to rock the pin-up look, but IRL Yael Stone is a bit more modern.

Nicky Nichols
My hair is about this big, so I relate to Nicky’s Litchfield style a lot.
Image: Jessica Miglio/Netflix
Natasha Lyonne
Sometimes, you’ll catch Natasha Lyonne out and about in outfits and hair that Nicky would probably wear herself. Here, she’s rocking a smoother look.

Sophia Burset
As the resident stylist, Sophia tends to look a little better than her fellow inmates.
Image: JoJo Whilden/Netflix
Laverne Cox
I mean. What more can I say? She’s an absolute icon that takes Sophia’s style about three levels beyond.

Tiffany Doggett
“Pennsatucky” has seen some rough days at Litchfield, so I’m picking one of her better moments (at least according to her).
Image: Jessica Miglio/Netflix
Taryn Manning
I would hate to see Pennsatucky with that ombré — there’s no way she can pull it off this well.

Alex Vause
“The Betti Page of Litchfield,” Alex’s signature glasses and eyeliner always makes her look as dramatic as her relationship with Piper.
Image: JoJo Whilden/Netflix
Laura Prepon
Most of us remember Laura Prepon as a ginger from her That 70s Show days, but I think the “Alex hair” suits her well IRL.

Leanne Taylor
The current leader of the laundry crew.

Janae Watson
Janae kept her athletic look while serving time.

Vicky Jeudy
Obsessed with that color.

Big Boo
Big Boo is usually seen with shorter hair, so I’m looking forward to this “makeover.”
Image: JoJo Whilden/Netflix
Lea DeLaria
The actress and comedian’s glasses and clean cut look would never fly for Boo.

Maria Ruiz
I think Maria might be one of my favorite side characters. We get just a few glimpses into her life, and they’re all fascinating and heart-wrenching.

Jessica Pimentel
Good golly, what a glamazon.

Gina Murphy
Gina’s pretty quiet, but always around.
Image: JoJo Whilden
Abigail Savage
She definitely deserves to take center stage.

Aleida Diaz
Is Aleida the best mother around, or the worst? She’s walking a fine line and I love it.
Image: Ursula Coyote/Netflix
Elizabeth Rodriguez
Aleida makes herself up pretty nice behind bars, but I like her IRL waves.

Yoga Jones
The best Simon Says leader ever, am I right?
Image: Ursula Coyote/Netflix
Constance Shulman
Off-screen, Shulman looks more like my aunt than my yoga instructor.

We finally learned Cindy’s backstory last season, and I’m looking forward to more this year.

Adrienne C. Moore
Phenomenal.

"Vee" Parker
The Big Bad from Season 2 who’s gotta be dead — right?
Image: Jessica Miglio/Netflix

Maybe I’m traumatized from last season or maybe it’s the cape, but Toussaint still looks a little frightening to me.

Blanca Flores
I love how we’re hearing more from Blanca this season.
Image: Paul Shiradi/Netflix
