Things Missing From 'Mockingjay, Part 2's Trailer

Hungry for some Hunger Games? If so, lucky you: The Hunger Games Mockingjay — Part 2 trailer came out on Tuesday, and it's a minute and 46 seconds of amazingness. However, as a diehard fan of the franchise, I have to say: As excited as I am to see Katniss and Cressida and Effie and all the other badass ladies rebel against a most terrifying President Snow, there are a few things this trailer is missing that we all, as Hunger Games fans, deserve to see in the final film. Whether or not their absence from the trailer indicates an absence from the film remains to be seen, but they're still all things worth pointing out.

Of course, it still looks like Mockingjay — Part 2 DELIVERS. In addition to looking incredibly sad, (which I am here for, because I loved to cry all the way through the books), it seems extremely dark — and there's always darkness before the dawn!

Still, though, I'm very selfish about my big-screen adaptations of beloved young adult novels, so here's more of what, and who, I could have used in the teaser. Hopefully, the film makes up for the lack of these listed things when it hits theaters on Nov. 20, 2015.

First, the trailer:

President Coin

Besides this shot of Coin and Plutarch at Finnick and Annie's wedding, the only other shot we get of Coin is of the back of her head when Katniss demands that she be the one to kill President Snow. What gives?!

MORE PEETA

All we get to see of Peeta is this one hug. If I can't be the one hugging him, I want to see more of him in the trailer.

More Evil Peeta

Even though Peeta eventually reaches a point of MOSTLY chill, he still has some tracker jacker hijacking left over. I wanna see that dark side.

And More Caesar

Why is my dear Caesar, with his sparkling teeth and sparkling personality, missing from this trailer?

Johanna Mason

...on second thought, maybe I should say people missing from the Mockingjay — Part 2 trailer, because in addition to Caesar, we also don't get to see my very favorite Johanna Mason from District 2.

...And Enobaria

The career tribute wasn't in Mockingjay — Part 1, but she is listed on the IMDb page for Mockingjay — Part 2 . Wish they would have given us a little glimpse of those razor-sharp teeth in the trailer, at least.

President Snow's Mansion

You may not like him, but you have to admit — President Snow's got style. We see a little glimpse of his mansion during a banquet, and, since we know that's where Katniss and him have a showdown, more interior shots would have been awesome.

Effie's Flawless Style
