9 Reactions To The 'Mockingjay, Part 2' Trailer

Everyone has their fandom, and mine just so happens to be the Hunger Games. Seriously, if you asked me how big of a fan I am on a scale of one to 10, I would, without a question, say 11. I've read all of the books (several times, I might add) and I own all the movies. I could probably recite most of the dialogue to be honest. Which is why I am super excited about the Mockingjay — Part 2 trailer that hit the Internet on Tuesday, giving us our first real taste of the next and final installment of the Hunger Games series.

One of the great things about this fandom is that it really knows how to promote. Whether it's through posters, websites or short teasers, each promotion makes fans wild with excitement every time. And this new trailer is no different. In under two minutes, it gave us everything we love and adore about this fandom. It is packed full with some of our favorite moments from the book, making me that much more excited for the movie's release in November. As I try to piece myself together again, here are the nine emotions any true Hunger Games fan went through after watching the new trailer.

But first, if you haven't already, here's the first trailer for Mockingjay — Part 2.

1. Squealing

When the first image is of Annie and Finnick's wedding, I couldn't help myself from squealing with joy. I can't believe this is really happening!

2. Heavy Breathing

Then, J. Law aka Katniss Everdeen starts talking, and I'm trying so hard to concentrate on the images with her glorious voice over in the background, but it's not really working.

3. Clapping

One clap for the beauty of Annie and Finnick kissing, and another for the return of Effie's amazing wardrobe. Bravo!

4. Chills

When the music stops and Katniss says "Snow has to pay," ahh, actual chills up my arm. Francis Lawrence, you are an acting genius.

5. Spinning

Scenes of the revolution! I repeat: scenes of the revolution. Followed by images of all of our favorite characters. BRB, my head is spinning with joy.

6. Sobbing

Seriously, the combination of Katniss' voice and the music is just too much for me to handle. Lionsgate, what have you done to me?

7. Heart Melting

The first appearance of Peeta! And he's hugging Katniss! And he looks normal again! Be still my heart.

8. Cheering

President Snow talks while pods get set off around the Capitol, and the rebels run for their lives. It's just pure gold.

9. Full Out Fangirling

Better known as a mix of all of these reactions combined. When Finnick says, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games," I actually lose my cool. Then they throw the mockingjay symbol up there? And then the iconic whistle? RIP, me.
