Dorinda Medley Has Always Been Fabulous

I've been watching Real Housewives since the very beginning. Real Housewives of New York City is the second series in the franchise, which means that it's been around for a pretty long time at this point — TK seasons! And, as with most shows, it has had some highs and some lows. Given that this is a reality show, a lot of that really comes back to the casting. Some ladies really work on the show and and some just... don't. And I have to say that I'm really loving the addition of Dorinda Medley to RHONY this season.

Dorinda has truly been a breath of fresh air. She is living a fabulous life, but is not at all pretentious. She is smart, but not a know-it-all. She is funny, but not cruel in her humor. I could go on and on, but adding her to the show was definitely a smart decision.

But I have to be honest, I had no idea who she was before watching the first episode this season. I know that she's been friends with Ramona Singer for "20 years" as I am continuously reminded, yet I don't know much else. What was Dorinda like before she joined Real Housewives? We may not know a ton about Dorinda's past or have a plethora of throwback photos to choose from, but it doesn't really matter. It's pretty evident that Dorinda is, has always been, and always will be fabulous.
