Oy with the poodles already! Nothing fills me with more joy — and FOMO — than the fact that there was a Gilmore Girls reunion this weekend. It's been 8 years since the show ended in 2007, aka it's been way too long since our favorite Stars Hollow residents got together. As someone who followed the show when it originally aired, bought the full box set of DVDs, and then re-watched once it hit Netflix, I am slightly obsessed. (Only slightly!) So the GG reunion at the ATX Festival on June 6 was basically like a dream come true. Sadly, I couldn't be there in person (it sold out almost instantly), so I lived vicariously through the photos on social media.
Lucky for me, there were plenty of amazing photos from the festival to tide me over. Nearly all of the main characters were there: Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Jared Padalecki (Dean), Scott Patterson (Luke), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess), Matt Czuchry (Logan), Keiko Agena (Lane), Liza Weil (Paris), and Danny Strong (Doyle). Of course the show's amazing/genius creator Amy Sherman-Palladino was there too! Unfortunately, there was no Melissa McCarthy (Sookie), but hey, she's a busy lady.
