Is Amanda Seyfried The Next Celeb To Get A Bob?

I don’t know about you guys, but I just got majorly let down by a certain actress. Amanda Seyfried showed off a short bob on Instagram, and while it looked absolutely amazing, it turned out not to be real! She proved that she can pull off short hair like no other and I got super excited about it before I found out that it was just a wig. Immediate sadness. How could she do this to me?

Despite the fake out, I can’t be too upset with Seyfried. What a great way to test if you’re going to look good with short hair before you fully commit and chop it all off. However, this may or may not be what she was actually doing. More than likely, the wig is just part of the look for an upcoming role, but man, she should really consider going short.

The layered strands and bangs perfectly framed those gorgeous eyes of hers and gave her a totally different look from her normal long, flowy locks. I know she’s usually got ultra long waves, but there’s no better time than summer to opt for a shorter and lighter cut. Seyfried should really take my advice and cut. it. all. off.

While I’m already out here doling out hair styling advice, Seyfried isn’t the only celeb that I think should try out the lob/bob trend. There’s quite a few daring divas that I’d love to see in full-on bob mode.

Now, I’m no expert when it comes to hair, but here are some of the other ladies I’d love to see shed it all for summer:

1. Olivia Wilde

Don't get me wrong, the long layered thing works for her, but I mean, I think short would be so fun. New baby, new look!

2. Victoria Beckham

She's already so chic, and I think short hair would only add to that. If anyone can pull off short hair that isn't cutesy, it's Beckham.

3. Blake Lively

Her flowing locks are undeniably gorgeous, but everything she does is adorable. Short hair would be no different. I can picture it, and it's obviously perfection.

4. Beyoncé

Bey has gone for the lob before, but didn't you love it? I definitely think she should go short again for summer because it totally feeds into that "fresher than you" vibe that she's forever got going on.

5. Reese Witherspoon

It wouldn't be the first time that Witherspoon's changed her hairstyle up, but the woman can do no wrong.

6. Melissa McCarthy

She's proven time and time again that she's a super stylish woman. So, if she decided to go with a haircut of the shorter variety, I'd be down!

7. Kendall Jenner

We've only ever seen her with medium to long hair, but I think she'd look great with a bob.
