6 Reasons Kit & Rose Need To Get Back Together

Jon Snow and Ygritte were by far the best relationship on Game of Thrones — save for maybe Ned and Catelyn Stark, but that's too sad. And did you know that in real life, the actors who play Jon and Ygritte, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, once dated? That's right. Not only were the Lord Commander and the beautiful, badass wildling an unlikely romance in the land of George R.R. Martin, but they dated, subtly, for more than a year. They were on-again-off-again, but unfortunately, it sounds like they are off for the foreseeable future. Why?! Why would they do that to us? Don't they think about the fans?

Apparently, even though the two are pretty private about their relationships and lives in general, it seems (so typical British stars of them!), Kitty seems pretty sad all by himself, even though he insists that he must be alone at this time: "Relationships as an actor are incredibly difficult with someone who’s not an actor." Here's an idea: why don't you get back together with your beautiful winter Rose? Jon Snow, you obviously know nothing, so here are seven reasons you should get back together with Rose Leslie.

1. Because There's Nothing Better Than On- & Off-Screen Couples

Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson in Much Ado About Nothing. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man. Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. We love to see couples together on-screen who are also together off-screen in their real lives! Why can't you just grant us that novelty, Kit and Rose? We like to indulge.

2. Because They Have Great Chemistry

Look at the way he serenaded her in Chris Martin's Game of Thrones musical for Red Nose Day. That chemistry is unbearable! Get a cave, you two!

3. Because He'll Need Comfort When He's Killed Off

Wake up, sheeple. As much as we all love Jon Snow, who is blossoming into a fine young leader, death is inevitable for basically everyone on Game of Thrones. And what's Kit gonna do? How will he deal? He's said that he doesn't like to speculate about when his character is going to die, so he's just setting himself up for the shock of a lifetime. Rose Leslie already knows what it's like to die on the show, so she could guide him through.

4. Because He Is So Sad

This man can not be left alone. He needs some cheering up, or maybe someone to tell him to just suck it up and get on with it because some people have war in their countries.

5. Because They Are So Good-Looking Together

And we know it. And more importantly, they know it.

6. Because It's What The Fans Want

Very rarely do GoT fans get to be happy. At the very least, to give something back, Harington and Leslie could just get back together, get married, and live happily ever after. It's really not that hard.
