When it comes to donut flavors, I am not picky. I love donuts — we all do! And that's why National Donut Day, a day dedicated to your favorite breakfast food of all time, is such a huge deal to me. I'll try almost any kind, no matter how weird the flavor, because they are magically delicious desserts that are actually totally appropriate to eat at 8 a.m. I've eaten donuts with salt on them, green tea donuts, and Fruity Pebbles donuts. I even think that maple syrup and bacon donuts sound good, and I'm a vegetarian.
But even I have my limits when it comes to donut toppings or flavors. We live in a world where people stuff their hamburgers with shrimp, and pizza crusts can be made with cheeseburgers, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a ton of weird donuts exist as well.
