Diane Proves The Jumpsuit Trend Is Alive And Well

Summer may be all about the shorts and dresses, but Diane Kruger's Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic outfit proved that the jumpsuit trend is really happening right now. So I guess we might as well just embrace it.

Kruger, along with her boyfriend Joshua Jackson, attended the polo match on Saturday in Jersey City, New Jersey, and instead of opting for a more traditional summer dress like Mindy Kaling, the German actress wore a jumpsuit. The Bridge star's black jumpsuit featured wide legged, culotte style trousers with pleating, and a top that showed plenty of skin. With a plunging neckline and cut outs on the sides and midriff, there was really very little fabric left, which made the dark look all the more appropriate for a sunny day at the polo fields. Diane summered up her look even more with open toed, embellished sandals, oversized sunnies, and a wide brimmed straw hat.

The look was chic and polished, yet still felt fun, and it made a pretty great warm weather alternative to the sun dress. But then again, we can always count on Diane to provide impossibly chic style inspiration. Now, who's ready to go out and buy a jumpsuit?
