The dream of the '90s is alive on social media, thanks to all of our favorite celebrities' fashion choices. Earlier today, Selena Gomez posted a '90s fashion-filled Instagram photo of herself in the passenger seat of a friend's car, clutching a much needed iced coffee. Gomez was giving off major '90s vibes wearing a black choker necklace, black velvet outerwear (we assume it is a kimono — no reason that she would be wearing a blazer in the summertime), and nude nail polish. Even if you have grown up since the 90s and no longer deem choker necklaces and velvet outerwear to be "cool," Gomez's choice of nude nail polish and coral lipstick are definite summer beauty staples. By the way, her brows are totally on fleek.

Selena sported a different look recently in longtime gal pal Taylor Swift's epic music video Bad Blood. In this amazing, explosive adventure, Gomez plays the character Arsyn who is the nemesis of Catastrophe, the character played by Taylor Swift herself. In the music video for Bad Blood, Gomez sported a short blunt bob with bangs and an outfit that Taylor Swift allegedly purchased at a sex shop according to E! News. As cool as Selena and all of the Swift Tribe looked in their action packed leather, I think I still prefer Gomez's '90s look for more practical wardrobe inspiration.
