Little Mix Releases "Black Magic" Teaser

by Alexis Rhiannon

Whatever you guys are doing right now, I'm gonna need you to stop it, and get really invested in this "Black Magic" teaser video that was just released by Little Mix . It's to get us excited about the upcoming video for their song, which will be premiering on May 29. Even though the teaser is only 17 seconds long, that's exactly what it did: get us excited. I know it's hard to keep track of all the incredible acts coming to us from the UK right now, and some bands are bound to slip through the cracks, but please don't let Little Mix be one of them. They're a four-person group made up of all ladies: Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, who were formed from The X Factor, just like One Direction. (And in case you're looking for one more 1D connections, Edwards just happens to be the fiancée of Zayn Malik.)

The new song is very catchy — no shade, but it kind of helps me understand why they passed on the comparatively vanilla "Pretty Girls", which they gave to Britney Spears — and I know the video is going to be incredible. It features all four ladies as schoolgirls, and kind of awkward ones at that. Like I said, the video is short, but it teases that the foursome find a book of black magic, which presumably helps them find popularity at their school... and then leads them to many adventures from there!

Can't wait to see the finished product on Friday, ladies. I wish I had a magic wand myself to make the time go faster!
