Plus-size blogger Nicolette Mason swapped vows with her partner Ali Talan this weekend and she did so in her customary impeccable style. Nicolette Mason wore a custom Christian Siriano wedding dress and it was a fluffy confection with lots and lots of gold appliques sprinkled throughout the construction, like fairy dust.
Mason blogs for Marie Claire and designed a capsule for ModCloth, as many fellow plus-sized writers also show off their creative side in many ways, like designing, while Siriano was the "fierce" designer who won Season 4 of Project Runway, when Victoria Beckham was the guest judge and fell in love with his design aesthetic.
The top and bottom of the dress was crafted with a sheer, cream-colored tulle, with the gold sprinkles fall in a way that appeared random, as if Mason walked through a petal storm and they got stuck to her dress, although the flecks likely weren't placed where they were as a matter of chance. She wore a double-strand headband and the dress just floated around her beautifully.
Siriano's gown was a total exercise in perfection and you can tell that Mason absolutely loved wearing it and felt like the style queen that she is.
Let's peep the dress from all social media angles.
I love how romantic this design is without being fussy or too Cinderella-ish.
It's beyond airy and ethereal, isn't it? It's also feminine without being precious.
Check out the lovely pair, as Talan looked sharp in a blue suit with a pink tie.
That dress is something else, for sure.
