When Will 'Scandal' Season 4 Be On Netflix?
I'm probably not alone in saying this, but is anyone else still recovering from the Scandal Season 4 finale? So much happened that I'm still freaking out! Mellie winning her senate seat? Cyrus Bean getting fired? Everything that just happened with Rowan?! It's going to be a long summer waiting for the Scandal Season 5 premiere. And until then, I'll definitely be rewatching the season that just aired. Every episode is so packed with action and details that I usually have to watch them a couple of times to truly appreciate the significance of the little things that make the show so amazing. So now, there's only one thing left to do: Wait for Scandal Season 4 to be on Netflix.
And if you're wondering when you'll be able to stream Olivia Pope's most recent adventures — and by that, I mean watch them enough times to understand why that kidnapping storyline was necessary — wonder no more, because Netflix has already announced the arrival date. Scandal Season 4 begins streaming on Netflix starting June 6, which is just a few weeks away... and it will give me something to do in those last days of anxiously waiting for Orange is The New Black Season 3. It's seriously a win/win situation.
There are few things in this world more cruel than when the previous season of a show isn't available for streaming on Netflix before the next season begins — so, I'm glad that isn't happening here. In fact, taking less than a month after the season finale airs to stream the latest season is pretty remarkable timing. Good for you, ABC. Is there somewhere I can send a thank you note to?
And, even though June 6 will be here before we know it, if you're getting impatient, you have a few options. The most recent five episodes are currently streaming for free on both Hulu and ABC's website. But, unfortunately, that's all you'll find for free (and, you know, legally). There's good news, though: If you're truly desperate and willing to shell out the cash, the entire season is available on iTunes for $2.99 an episode. It's an expensive way to get your Scandal fix, but it gets the job done.
Meanwhile, I'll be over here, waiting for June 6 — and, more importantly, next fall. I can't wait to see Mellie as a senator, or find out if this whole "Olivia and Fitz, together again" storyline is actually going to work. (Or just torture us for a few episodes before Liv comes to her senses again and realizes that dating the president is never going to work.) Is it premiere season yet?!
