Did Karlie Kloss Just Win Cannes?

I think we can all agree that Cannes 2015 has been a veritable smorgasbord of fab (I'm still not over Fan Bingbing's Marchesa flowerbomb in particular) but even with such formidable competitors, one model may have just won the unofficial fashion competition of Cannes. Jury's still out, of course (the festival's set to continue until May 24th, and the closing ceremony is sure to be extra fab), but the fishtailed Oscar de la Renta Karlie Kloss wore to the de Grisogono "Divine in Cannes" party? It's a definite contender for best dressed of the whole festival.

And of course she went with Oscar de la Renta. Kloss was a long-time friend of Mr. de la Renta himself when he was alive. They first worked together when she was 15, and she's walked in or sat front row at just about every show since. The model has also worn the house's designs at some of her most fabulous public appearances over the years, perhaps most notably at the 2013 Met Gala, when she sported a black and gold brocade number paired with elbow length black leather gloves to (alongside bestie Taylor Swift, of course).

The dress in question is from Oscar de la Renta's newest collection, which makes sense, seeing as Karlie sat front row with — surprise! — Taylor at the recent Fall 2015 show. Let's take a look:

The word "divine" written in lights in the background of the second snap is more than perfect for the occasion, no? Let's hope that Ms. Kloss continues to bring her A-game at the Cannes Film Festival!
