Chris Harrison wasn't lying when he said this was going to be the most dramatic season of The Bachelorette. Amongst one of the huge bombs dropped so far is that former Bachelorette contestant Nick Viall is coming back to win Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart. But how does Nick even know Kaitlyn? Turns out he watched her season of The Bachelor with the rest of us — and he liked what he saw.
In February, just one month after the show started airing, Nick started to praise Kaitlyn on Twitter and he basically never stopped. "I like how Kaitlyn carries herself," he tweeted on Feb. 2. Then on Feb. 16 he fawned over her again. "I'm pretty I would never be bored around Kaitlyn," he wrote. And on March 9, he wrote, "Oh and Kaitlyn is incredible." I think you get the general idea. It was easy to see he was smitten with her. So, I'm sure he was thrilled when she was named Bachelorette, especially since he was campaigning for her. Three months ago he took to Instagram to cast his vote for which lovely lady should helm the new season.
Rumor has it @abcnetwork is having a hard time deciding who the next #bachelorette should be. Well if they ask me.. and they won't, it's a no brainer. The right amount of whit, just enough sass, and plenty of hotness @kaitlynbristowe is certainly my vote. #thebachelorette
It's not clear whether he ever actually met Kaitlyn before her season began. It's quite possible he bumped into her at The Bachelor finale, or at another Bachelor Family get together. But from the sound of his tweets all Bachelor season, he didn't even have to meet her. Like America, he fell for her just by watching her on TV.
Now he's hoping he can take that attraction beyond the television screen. Will he be successful? Who knows, but it certainly has to help that Nick and Kaitlyn can bond over both having been on the show before!
