Elizabeth Banks Slays On 'Allure'

In one of the prettiest summer covers I've seen so far, Elizabeth Banks covers Allure magazine with a light, soft, and beautifully romantic profile shot. But don't worry. The female-empowering actress definitely brought the smolder inside the magazine.

The Pitch Perfect 2 star is positively glowing on the magazines June cover, which features a close-up profile shot of Banks in a lace dress with her loose waves flowing around her face, and her blush pink lips upturned with her dazzling smile. Though she looks stunning on the cover, things definitely take a bolder turn in the inside editorial. Banks channels her inner-femme fatale, lounging in a Fendi fur coat, Agent Provacateur bathing suit, and leather Tom Ford sandals, as well as seductively smoldering in her lace cover gown on a bed with satin sheets.

It's not a look we're used to seeing from the comedic actress, but it's a role she can most certainly pull off. The 41-year-old also opens up about sexism in Hollywood. "If I had to pick a theme of the things I do, it would be: girls win," she tells the magazine. It's certainly an editorial that radiates strength and female empowerment, and it's just an added bonus that she looks fan-freaking-tastic.
