Taylor Swift Reps "Bad Blood" On The Red Carpet

Taylor Swift has come a long way since her first appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011, both musically and sartorially. She hit the red carpet that year in a sparkly, strapless column dress, gently curled hair, and — yes — her signature "red lip classic thing that [we] like." The 1989 singer looked absolutely stunning, but it's safe to say she's done a little growing up in the past four years. Tonight, Taylor Swift performs at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and premieres the video for her hit song, "Bad Blood." Naturally, she had to pull out all the stops with her outfit.

Let's begin with the unsurprising elements: Where there cutouts? Yes! Did Taylor Swift's belly button make an appearance? Never! Despite the consistency, Swift threw us for a loop with her sparkling white jumpsuit and NON RED LIPSTICK. That's right — the queen of the bold lippy went totally neutral for tonight's red carpet, instead pairing her wide-legged one-piece with a smokey eye and pale, glossy nude lips.

The outfit is cute and all, if a little boring (I mean, how many times can we see T-Swizzle in a cut-out bodice?), however, Swift's black and red "Bad Blood" clutch is a total winner.

I'm also really digging the sultry direction she went in with her makeup look. Let's take a closer look at that promotional clutch, shall we?

OK, so maybe it's a little gimmicky, but I think the clutch adds some much-needed punch to this ensemble. I can't wait to see what she changes into for her performance tonight.
