For those who've been hoping Beyoncé would support Hillary Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign, you're dreams have officially come true. On Wednesday, Beyoncé was spotted at a Hillary Clinton fundraising event in New York City, the New York Daily News reports. A fan shared a photo of Beyoncé on Twitter at the event, which soon caused an eruption from fans who are pumped that the singer is lending a helping hand in Clinton's campaign.
According to Politico, Clinton's NYC event was hosted by L.A. Reid, the CEO of Epic Records, and his wife, Erica. Now that it appears Beyoncé is all about Clinton being the future POTUS, Queen Bey's fans are beyond thrilled. Ever since Clinton announced her presidential run, Beyoncé followers have been hoping the Secretary of State would use "Run the World" as her campaign theme song. If not, they hope Clinton at least will invite Beyoncé to sing the empowering female anthem at her inauguration.
Apparently, Clinton and Beyoncé supporters are very passionate about the two working together in some way, shape, or form. There are even people hoping Clinton will choose Beyoncé as her running mate. If that isn't enough, there is also a website and Twitter page dedicated to Beyoncé becoming Clinton's vice president.
I doubt Beyoncé will be selected as Clinton's running mate, but there's no doubt these two women are running the world and receiving support for it.
