They've only been married one year, but that doesn't matter to Kimye. According to Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are renewing their vows in Paris, France in May. An insider told the publication that in honor of Kardashian and West's one year anniversary on May 24 (also my birthday, which I will be celebrating in style, aka not in Paris), the rapper and reality star want to express their love again to one another with a vow renewal.
Kardashian and West married on May 24, 2014 in Florence, Italy, so clearly it makes sense that their extravagant first wedding wasn't enough. Their wedding weekend took place all over Europe, including a family trip in Paris and a rehearsal dinner at Palace of Versailles. See why they want to renew their vows? The first time was so underwhelming and super boring.
If you're worried that their second nuptials will be blah, don't be, because Us Weekly says West "is renting out the Eiffel Tower for the special event," in addition to the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant. Of course he is. Would you expect anything less from Dr. Kanye West? The couple will reportedly head to Paris after they attend the Cannes Film Festival.
After their first wedding, Kardashian revealed that she and West fell in love in Paris, which is probably why they're renewing their vows there. "It was the most amazing experience, just to be able to share that experience," Kardashian said. "We kind of wanted everyone to be on this love journey with us, because we fell in love in Paris, then I got pregnant with our daughter in Florence. So we kind of wanted to share our love story with all of our friends and family."
Will their vow renewal be featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians? No word yet, but there's a good chance, especially since part of Kimye's first wedding was shown on TV.
