Zoe Kravitz's Rocks Monochrome At Dior Cruise
Many stars have experimented with the one-color trend over the years, but Zoë Kravitz's monochrome outfit is an example of how to make this look pitch-perfect for summer. Kravitz showed off her toned stomach the Dior Cruise Show in Cannes in a white crop top and mini skirt combination. The outfit proved that a head-to-toe monochromatic ensemble can be anything but boring. Sometimes simplicity really is key.
Kravitz committed fully to the one-colored theme with buckled white heels and a matching bag. Her statement sunglasses and long, loose locks made for an effortlessly chic look. Completing the ensemble with a handful of gold rings that added just the right amount of sparkle and an armful of tattoos, she was able to give the simple pieces her own personal touch.
According to Stylelite, monochrome was the theme of the day for Kravitz. She stepped out in a nude maxi-dress earlier that morning before hitting the Dior show in all white, showing that this summery trend is perfect for any occasion. Kravitz is a big fan of sunglasses, which she uses to pull together almost all of her outfits, but it's her confidence that keeps her landing this look each time. A great attitude is the best accessory.
Kravitz is not the only star who has latched on to the whole monochromatic and/or matching set trend this year. From red carpet looks to street style inspiration, this summer style can be worn anywhere.
Brittany Snow
The Pitch Perfect star showed her go-to festival style in Cosmopolitan, and, to no surprise, it featured this matching two-piece ensemble. She looked stunning in a quirky crop top and skirt combination, complete with sleeveless fur vest and wild mane.
Khloe Kardashian & Kendall Jenner
The sisterly duo showed two very different monochromatic styles in one color-coordinated shot. Kardashian sported an all-black ensemble with her long-sleeved black dress and knee-high boots that almost met the bottom of her dress. Jenner took the opposite approach with a striped crop top and matching wide-legged pants. The two showed that this is one trend that can be easily personalized.
Taylor Swift
Swift has basically made this match-matchy thing her signature. She has been rocking coordinated separates for some time now, from crop top and skirt combinations to long-sleeved creations.
Beyoncé
To no surprise, Queen Bey has also shown that head-to-toe monochrome is not to be overlooked. Unlike Kravitz, she decided to include a pop of color with her bag to balance out her denim shoes, but either option works.
Karlie Kloss
It looks like Kloss got some inspiration from her monochromed bestie. She stepped out in an all-black ensemble featuring black sunglasses and black Converse shoes.
I can't wait to see more celebs take on this trending look as we get closer to the summer!
