Gigi Hadid & Cody Simpson Have Broken Up

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, you guys, but Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson have officially broken up. Excuse me while I cry my eyes out. So much for having a good weekend. Now I’m destined to embracing sweats and a t-shirt, Netflix and Ben & Jerry’s to ease my sorrows. OK, so maybe those were my plans anyways, but now I’m sad, you know?

E! News confirmed the news of the breakup today, quoted Hadid’s rep as saying, “Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career. They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

The duo was super cute together, but this actually isn’t the first time that they've split. Maybe there's hope for them yet! OK, so I think I'm still in denial. Although, breaking up to pursue two killer careers is pretty solid reasoning. But it still doesn’t make it any easier, for them or for the fans.

Hadid’s rep also told E! News, “They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters.”

I’m glad they ended it on good terms. In memory of their amazing couple status that is no longer, here’s a look at Hadid and Simpson's best style moments as a couple.
