5 Reasons Why We're Not Judging Kylie Jenner

Some people might be hating on the fact that the truth behind Kylie Jenner’s signature pucker are temporary lip fillers, but rather than judging her, I think we should take a step back and remember that Kylie Jenner is a human being with real feelings. These are her lips and she can do with her body what she chooses. If Jenner had to rely on temporary lip treatment to achieve her now perfect pout, then so be it. We support her!

In case you missed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clip that was released today, baby Jenner admitted that she received lip treatments to get her temporary plump lips for about six months. Many of her fans may feel deceived and played, but at least she's coming out to tell the truth and admitting that they are not real.

For those of us who aren’t blessed with a pair of full lips, we try to work with what our mamas gave us by using lips plumping serums or over-lining the outside of our lips with lip liner. Although receiving cosmetic procedures is a little more serious, isn't relying on serums and liners to fake a full pout sort of being dishonest with people, too? Is there really that big of a difference between a sort of fake pout and a totally fake pout? I definitely can understand why some people may be hating on Kylie, but I think we should all check ourselves, because who are we to say what she should and shouldn't do? Here are 5 reasons why I'll never judge Kylie for her lip injections.

1. Everyone has insecurities

Jenner told E!, "I have temporary lip filler, it's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do [...] I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie." Everyone has insecurities and everyone deals with them differently. Who are we to judge?

2. She's already scrutinized by the masses

Let's just all try to understand where Jenner is coming from, because if I was born into the Kardashian-Jenner family, I'd want to be known for something other than being Kendall Jenner's younger sis. Jenner told E!, "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie."

3. With or without lip injections, she's gorg

Why does the fact that she gets temporary lip injections change our perspective so quickly on her? Whether she has lip injections or not, Kylie is all-around gorgeous. We shouldn't trip over something that she wants to do in order to make herself feel more confident.

4. Lip injections aren't much different from the lip plumping serums that many women use

If you're somewhat insecure about your lips, like Kylie, then you most likely have tried out lip plumping serums before. Both the injections that Kylie got and the plumping serums are temporary.

5. She's still the reigning lip queen

Even with the lip injections, Kylie's lips were made famous not because of her cosmetic procedure, but by her masterful lip-lining skills. I bet even if she didn't get the temporary injections, with her know-how around lipsticks and lipliners, she would definitely still be Kylie Jenner, the Lip Queen.
