Kate Hudson Wears Michael Kors at Met Gala 2015

by Stephanie Chon

Shimmering around at Met Gala, Kate Hudson wore a Michael Kors dress that was entirely glammed up with golden sequins. Her dress looked a little similar to the one that the golden princess of Genovia, Anne Hathaway, once wore. Hudson looked entirely like Disney princess with her Cinderella up do, Belle curves, and an ornate hair accessory that basically counts as a tiara. Her hair accessory is a rather large metal piece with gold and white floral designs, styled along the side of her head and letting it flow down over one ear.

She came out with designer Michael Kors following behind her, along with a beautiful white and gold clutch in her hand. Although at first, Hudson’s overall look doesn’t seem to fit with this year’s Met Gala theme, “China: Through The Looking Glass,” there are subtle nods to the culture. One of those is the cut of her dress’ neckline, which is seen on most traditional Chinese gowns. Overall, the look is incredibly striking, and nails the theme without being the least bit offensive.
