Want To Hear Britney Spears' New Single?
Want to step inside the Britneymobile? This Sunday, a select group of lucky fans in Los Angeles will be the first to hear Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea's new single "Pretty Girls" when they step inside a special Britney-fied Uber car, People reports. Starting at 3pm PT, the Britneymobiles will make their way around LA, giving fans six hours to track one down for the chance to listen to the new track and possibly win tickets to Spears' Las Vegas show, Piece Of Me . Marketing executive of Spears' record label RCA Val Pensa told People.com, "For an artist of Britney Spears' caliber, you have to make a new single release an event." In other words, Spears doesn't do surprise music releases. She does the Britneymobile.
"Pretty Girls" will officially be released May 4, though it looks like anyone hoping to get a sneak preview of the now-deleted leaked track will have to wait, or track down a Britneymobile. In the meantime, Spears and Azalea are reportedly gearing up to perform "Pretty Girls" at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17, and Spears is recovering from an onstage injury. On Thursday she tweeted, "Breaks my heart to share this news. After hurting my ankle last night my doctor has advised me not to perform this weekend[...]Your kind words mean everything to me! I'm rescheduling this weekend’s shows and will let ya'll know when we have the new dates. xoxo." Until then, TO THE BRITNEYMOBILE!
