Divorce Settlement Amount Is Shocking

Ah, the lives of the rich and famous. They've got all the joys and heartbreaks of the rest of us, but with millions of dollars thrown around in the process. In other words: Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have reached settlement in their divorce, and it is a buttload of cash.

In case you've been buried under a celebrity-resistant rock: Moore and Kutcher decided to divorce after some cheating and some ugliness, and since then their divorce has been being dragged out — and out, and out, and out. As is true with a lot of marriages and especially ones involving one of TV's highest-paid actors, a lot of the quibbles going on in those lawyers' offices had to do with financial questions.

Now, Moore and Kutcher seem to have finally reached a settlement, and Page Six is reporting that it's somewhere to the tune of $90 million dollars. Forget the fact that we start mildly hyperventilating at the mere mention of that amount of money, but yeah, that's a lot of cash.

That money reportedly went to Moore, who has been arguing that she deserved more than she was initially going to get. Kutcher is the highest paid actor on TV, after all. The amount they settled on is being called a “generous settlement," which seems fair and also like the understatement of the century.
