Lamar Says They're "Wonderful": Yeah, Right
I really never thought we'd hear from Lam Lam, like, ever again, but thankfully, I was wrong. After months of enduring rumors that he's a crack addict and a cheater, Lamar Odom spoke about Khloe Kardashian. The reluctant reality star and NBA player broke his silence and gave a comment to Us Weekly, saying that he and his wife are "wonderful." While the "evidence" seems to indicate that they're anything but wonderful, Odom wants us to believe otherwise.
He told the magazine:
We're wonderful. We're unbreakable. That's why I wear my wedding ring. It is a beautiful ring. From a beautiful wife.
Odom was reportedly in friendly spirits and said that personally, he's "doing good." The magazine caught up with the 33-year-old at a comedy club, which was evidently a great place to catch Odom in a talkative mood. Those places usually have a two drink minimum... just saying.
Anyway, even though it's like WHOA LAMAR IS TALKING, he's not really saying that much. There's just no way things are "wonderful." There's also very little proof that Khloe and Lamar are "unbreakable." Pretty sure all it would take is Khloe's signature on a legal document and bam, they're broken. FURTHERMORE, this comment just sounds like a plug for their perfume, which surprise surprise is called Unbreakable.
And wearing a ring doesn't mean everything is all good. It just means you haven't taken your ring off. I'm no expert Lamar, but when your wife drops your last name from her Twitter account, that usually means that shit is less than perfect.
That said, the two were spotted together for the first time in a while at a Kanye concert recently. The couple reportedly sat next to each other and at one point, Odom danced with Kim Kardashian. A family that dances together, stays together?
Unfortunately, Odom's comments don't do anything to help convince us that things aren't anything less than totally fucked up for him. Between the drug rumors, the hooker rumors, the fact that Khloe's been keeping her distance on social media and in real life, and the reality that Kris Jenner is basically in charge of his well-being and can take him down in a matter of minutes with one simple smoke-signal to TMZ, Odom is not wonderful.
As much as we want him to be, there's just no way, no how, that he's okay.
