Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Conrad & Fellow 'Laguna' Alums Are In a Constant Battle to One-Up Each Other
I don't know what it is about the Laguna Beach/The Hills cast but it's seems like whenever one of the former cast members announces good news, pow, another comes out of the woodwork and reveals that hey! They have good news, too! It's been happening a lot recently, and it's starting to get a little worrisome in its predictability. The latest example comes from that tall dark-haired friend of Kristin Cavallari's. Former Laguna star Christina Sinclair is pregnant (she was Christina Schuller when on the show). The 27-year-old is now a fitness instructor at Beach Babe Fitness and married her husband, Chad Sinclair, back in August 2011.
This comes on the heels, of course, of Cavallari's announcement that she is pregnant with her second child. On Oct. 28, Cavallari revealed that she and NFL quarterback husband Jay Cutler are very excited that their son Camden Jack will have a little brother or sister to play with soon.
But Sinclair's news that bumped Cavallari's news is just the tip of the tail that the Laguna cast can't stop chasing. Here's the shocking chain of events that shows how they can't help but one up each other. Clearly, "Anything you can do, I can do better" should've been the show's theme song. (Sorry, Duff.)

Whitney Port
Guys. Whitney Port wore quilted sweatpants and ankle boots to brunch on Oct. 12. Take that, Cavallari. You and your pregnancy "news" just got slaughtered by this outfit.
Jason Wahler
Next up is "bad boy" Jason Wahler. The guy best known for kissing Jessica at Lauren's fashion show grew up a bit, as people do, and tied the knot on October 12. But his news was soon overshadowed.
Lauren Conrad
A day after Jason's wedding, Lauren announced that she and William Tell are engaged. Was it revenge? L.C. was "the girl who didn't go to Paris" because of then-boyfriend Jason... perhaps usurping his big day with her big ring was a big F you. One can hope, anyway.
Holly Montag
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not so fast, L.C. You're not the only Laguna/Hills person who can promise to spend their life with someone! On Oct. 14, we found out that Holly Montag, sister of Heidi Montag, got engaged, as well. Take that, Conrad.

Speidi
Getting married is soooo 2009. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt tied the knot years ago, so the only way they could compete with all the announcements of love on the weekend of Oct. 14 was to reveal that they may or may not give birth... to a reality show. Classic.
Jason Wahler
Oh hello there, again, Jason. On Oct. 17, it appeared Wahler was not content to have the limelight ripped from him by his former cast mates, so he did what any self-respecting reality star would do, and wrote a very personal essay for the Huffington Post in which he discussed his suicide attempts. That seems hard to top, if only because one-upping someone who just shared something deeply personal seems so wrong, but...

Brody Jenner
Engagements? Weddings? Babies? Depression? Please. On Oct. 28, we found out that our boy Brody doesn't have time for that suburban shit, which is why he just bought a $1.9 million bachelor pad in Malibu. And for the record, Brody: I'm free to hang. Like, always.
Kristin Cavallari
On Oct. 28, Kristin revealed that all her hard work paid off and she and Jay are indeed having another baby. Party to celebrate at your house, Brody?
Christina Sinclair
On Oct. 31, Kristin's old friend from Laguna High shared with the world that she, too, is pregnant and as of now, that means she's the got the Laguna/Hills alum spotlight on her. But we all know that won't last long...
Who's Next?
I'd like to go ahead and volunteer Lo Bosworth to step up to the plate and start getting in on this Laguna/Hills tail-chasing adventures. A baby? A sex change? Somethin' Lo, come on, you can do it.
