This 4-Year-Old Girl Is A Tiny Dance Champion

by Beca Grimm

It seems that each day, the internet reminds us that we did childhood incorrectly. Sadly, there are no do-overs (as far as I know, at least), which means we missed the boat on becoming members of a badass preteen metal band. We also forgot to practice hard and become prodigy, pint-sized boxers. Today we learn skipping dance class was a very bad plan. Here is a 4-year-old girl who dances to Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" who can stanky leg like no adult I've ever seen.

Watch in insane awe as teeny tiny Harmony King tears up the corner of Harlem's Little Africa. And it's not like she's alone—she leads the pack of fellow young girls in a fire dance routine, much to the delight of passerby. Basis for comparison: In third grade, I led a three-piece, rag-tag dance troupe for the class talent show. We selected an Ace of Base B-side, which may have been our first mistake. Who know what exactly went wrong after that, but needless to say, we did not take home the first, second, or third place title.

King, on the other hand, could kill even an adult dance-off with those moves and pizzazz. People aren't slowing their stride to catch a glimpse for just anyone with an 8-count routine.

That's just the beginning. Because then there's also a move like this:

That's some powerful squad leadership. King's mother, Tianne, choreographs the dances, but surely that's only for the time being. With style like that, I imagine King will eventually grow to develop her own routines. (Seriously, if we could in third grade with zero talent, I can't imagine the awesomeness she'd develop.) Watch as she greets her adoring fans:

Check out King doin' her dang thing below. And crank your speakers. We're talking serious Friday vibes:

And while we're at it, here's Harmony and Tianne performing a dance to Queen Bey on Ellen:

Is this still cute when the daughter is roughly seven times older than Harmony? No? Are you sure? Asking for a friend, of course.
