Elizabeth Olsen's Cape Dress Was So Fitting

The latest trend in red carpet fashion finally showed up in the perfect place. Actress Elizabeth Olsen wore a cape dress to the Avengers premiere, proving that she's kind of a superhero IRL. As far as I can tell based on what's been promoted, she doesn't actually wear a cape in the movie, which is kind of a shame considering how fierce she looks in one.

The Saint Laurent number is far from a regular old LBD, even if there wasn't a superhero detail in sight. The high neckline balances out the short hemline, and the dramatic embellished detailing adds a touch of sparkle and glamour. The twins' little sis accessorized with a black box clutch and cool-girl studded platform sandals. And they actually looked incredibly comfortable (a red carpet first, right?)

She kept her jewelry simple, taking advantage of the biggest perk to wearing metallic details on your dress and shoes. Her most notable accessory? Her classic Olsen smize, which made an appearance a few times.

Olsen's look from last evening has me dying to take my cape blazer out for a spin. Anyone want to go see Avengers: Age of Ultron? Because I can't think of a better place to wear it. (Plus, who wouldn't want to watch Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans in action?)
