The 11 Australian Bloggers You Need To Know

The street style from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, which finished up last week, was a Pinterest frenzy. The down-under babes were pulling out all the stops, and while each of the Australian fashion bloggers had an inherently unique style, they all seemed to have that perfectly un-perfect look about them. Perhaps the Aussie equivalent to Paris’ je ne sais quoi.

From saltwater-sprayed tresses to heels and boyfriend jeans, the"it" girls of Australia are slaying the fashion scene. During New York Fashion Week, the women were featured in a slew of street style photos, and just before that Zanita Whittington and Nicole Warne, both Australian natives, were featured on the cover of Lucky Magazine with Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni. Better yet, a group of Australian bloggers is set to star in their second season of the reality TV show Fashion Bloggers on the Style Network. While they live thousands of miles away, exist in completely different time zones, and dress for opposite seasons to most of us stateside folks, the Australian bloggers remain relevant amongst America’s fashion scene.

From simple and chic like Harper and Harley to girly chic like Gary Pepper Girl, I've found just a few of the top Australian bloggers of the moment. Scroll down to see what I like to call the Aussie Posse:

1. The Chronicles Of Her

Carmen Hamilton, Beauty Editor at the The File (the beauty equivalent to The Coveteur), has great beauty inspo and daily outfit posts on her blog, The Chronicles of Her. Her style is very minimalistic with tomboyish silhouettes.

2. Fairfax Journal

You would never guess that Nadia Fairfax is a fairly new blogger based off of her professional photography, fun photo shoots, and quirky style on her blog Fairfax Journal.

3. Harper And Harley

Sara Donaldson's blog Harper and Harley is all about the essentials! She turns basic pieces in neutral colors into extraordinary outfits.

4. Gary Pepper Girl

Nicole Warne, known for her girly chic style, has a beautiful blog called Gary Pepper Girl. On her blog, you not only see fantastic outfit inspiration, but you also get to see lovely photography from her travels around the world.

5. Kate Waterhouse

Famous for her Date with Kate interviews, in which she interviews fashion models, celebrities, and icons, Kate Waterhouse's blog is a compilation of outfit posts and her question and answer column.

6. Zanita

Part professional photographer and part fashion blogger, Zanita Whittington's blog Zanita is a treat. With loose silhouettes, bright prints, and funky shoes, Zanita's style is reminiscent of a modern day Carrie Bradshaw.

7. Tuula Vintage

Jessica Stein's blog Tuula Vintage will have fashionistas all over the world wanting to take flight. Her travel-friendly attire and amazing collection of rompers is truly inspiring.

8. Shine By Three

Margharet Zhang is a blogger of all trades — from styling to writing to taking pictures, she does it all. Her personal style blog, Shine By Three, highlights her revolutionary layering techniques and her flat lay photos. Her Instagram is pretty awesome, too.

9. Oracle Fox

Amanda Shadforth of Oracle Fox is all about business. Her edgy menswear-inspired style is perfect inspiration for the office.

10. They All Hate Us

Blogger friends Elle Ferguson and Tash Sefton combined their love for fashion into their blog, They all Hate Us, where you can find daily outfit inspiration and shop their wardrobe must-haves.

11. 4th And Bleeker

Alexandra Spencer's blog 4th and Bleeker is a compilation of her modeling campaigns, photographs, and inner thoughts. While she is originally from Australia, Alexandra currently resides in New York City, which I suppose could explain her rock 'n roll style.
