Rihanna Just Went Blonde, Kinda
It's safe to say the world is used to Rihanna's chameleon-like nature when it comes to her versatile looks. She has had pretty much every hair cut and color in the book, and is constantly shaking up her style with fashion choices that truly know no boundaries. Now, Rihanna covers the summer issue of V magazine, and looks practically like a whole new woman. Trust me, this is Rihanna like we have never seen her before.
The jaw-dropping cover features the singer in her truest bad b*tch form, donning nothing but turquoise cheeky undies and large hoop earrings — pretty standard for Bad Gal RiRi if you ask me. We are all very aware of how comfortable she is going topless. The not-so-standard part, however, is the sleek platinum blonde mane she rocks in the shot. The voluminous, front-bangs hairstyle is reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot circa the 70's — totally retro chic, and a huge departure from RiRi's typical wild girl look. I assume this is a wig, but then again, you never know.
Perhaps the coolest part of the whole style is the sherbet-colored makeup, showing off a matching turquoise lid and light pink pout. Take a look at the surprising cover below. Can you even recognize her?!
If the caption didn't read @badgalriri, I would have never know it was her in the shot, but the truth is, I'm seriously digging it. The contrasting bright colors almost make it look like pop art, once again tying into the retro '70s theme, and it totally works.
