Karen O. Is PreggO!

Most celebrity pregnancies don't excite me, but Karen O is pregnant and I'm beaming! The 36-year old legendary badass and front woman of Yeah Yeah Yeahs showed up at the 30th Annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction honoring the late Lou Reed. O wore a better outfit to show off her baby bump than I will probably ever wear in my life — a mini black turtleneck dress with a heavily studded jacket over it. And as per usual, her bangs looked absolutely perfect, which would make me bitter if I didn't love her. Karen O came to the ceremony with her husband Barnaby Clay, who she's been married to since 2011. The director worked with O on music videos for Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Lord knows this baby is going to be the luckiest and raddest kid on the planet. O is one of the first frontwomen that made me feel powerful. I was only 13 when Yeah Yeah Yeahs released Fever To Tell in 2003, and it made me feel like the coolest eighth grader that I could be. Sadly, the band just went on a hiatus in December, which, probably, is because of Karen O's baby on the way. When they announced their respite, O told NME that she wasn't feeling like the time was right: "We have to wait to get the urge, get that itch. The time needs to be right and we’re OK waiting for that, I think.” Obviously would DEFINITELY listen to an album about Karen O as a mama.
