Miley & Patrick Are On A "Break?" Uh Oh.

Man, it has been a seriously rough day for young Hollywood. According to sources who spoke with E! News, Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger are on a "break" after dating for five months. While the news hasn't been confirmed by Schwarzenegger or Cyrus, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true, if only because bad news comes in threes and this dreary Monday has already seen the confirmed demise of Ariana Grande and Big Sean, as well as the rumored end of Selena Gomez and Zedd. Get it together, Hollywood youths! Or, really, don't. Because you're young and living wild and free and all that jazz.

As E! explains, Cyrus and Schwarzenegger "were each spotted hanging out without their significant other on multiple occasions." Normally, this wouldn't be much cause for concern with a celeb couple. I mean, these two have international locales to visit and have to do things like induct Joan Jett into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — they're busy people!

But, seeing as this comes after Schwarzenegger raised suspicions of infidelity when he was photographed canoodling with another woman while on a spring break trip, he and Cyrus taking a "break" doesn't seem like that much of a surprise. While Schwarzenegger denied claims that he was up to anything mischievous, I imagine living through a relationship in the limelight and, in particular, dealing with cheating rumors has to take a toll. Also, there's that whole being young and free thing I mentioned.

With seeing this news though, I can't help but be reminded of the most famous "break" in the world: that between Rachel and Ross on Friends. If TV has taught me anything, it's that if these two end up back together, this break will be a point of contention for years to come. Good luck, Patley (or Schwarzenley? Or Miltrick? What are they calling you guys?). In your relationship and in making it through the future fights you'll probably have about this whole thing.
