Well, here's some sad news for shippers of these two talents. Ariana Grande and Big Sean have split after eight months of dating, their reps exclusively revealed to Us Weekly. Rather than releasing separate statements, Grande and Big Sean unveiled their split via a joint statement. It reads,
They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.
According to sources who are said to be close to Grande and Big Sean, the two reportedly split "a few weeks ago," and did so "very quietly and amicably." Supposedly, both have crazy schedules when it comes to touring, so they thought it best to part ways and remain friends. One source told Us, “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year."
The two first confirmed they were a couple in October 2014 and have not been shy about showing their love for another via social media, at events, and even while vacationing together.
As sad as Grande and Big Sean shippers might be over this split, it doesn't mean things are over for good. It makes since why the two would want to take some time apart while touring, especially if they're hardly going to see one another over the next year. There's always a chance they'll stay in touch and reunite after their crazy schedules die down a bit. Plus, maybe some time apart will make them realize how much they want to be together.
So, for all you Ariana Grande and Big Sean supporters, don't lose hope just yet.
