Did 'Klaus' Finally Get His On 'The Originals'?
How the tables have turned in New Orleans and I'm sure the Mikaelsons will learn to regret their big decision. After almost two seasons of Klaus running the show on The Originals, his brothers and sisters decided that it was their turn to call the shots on Monday night's "When the Levee Breaks." So, basically everyone is probably going to be screwed. Dahlia's only just arrived in New Orleans and, at the end of Monday's episode, Elijah daggered Klaus — so, is Klaus dead on The Originals ? What goes around, eventually comes around even if you're an immortal hybrid, but there's no chance that we just lost the CW series' OG bad guy.
It was really only a matter of time before Elijah, Rebekah, and now Freya got their hands on a dagger and gave Klaus a little bit of his own medicine. I can't even count how many times Klaus has done the same to his siblings and kept them locked in coffins since the Mikaelsons were introduced on The Vampire Diaries. But, though Elijah and Rebekah have put their faith in banding together with Freya to defeat Dahlia, it's only a matter of time before they realize exactly how big of a mistake they've made. Dahlia's power is more than any of them can handle, even with Hayley's bright idea to mask Hope's powers. So, what does that mean for Klaus?
Well, first of all, Klaus really can't be dead. And I'm not just saying that because he's obviously the main character of the show and the series has already eliminated two siblings and put Rebekah in a different body in Season 2. Sure, losing Klaus would be the ultimate tragedy — so, sorry, Original siblings, you haven't gotten rid of your brother just yet. If you're starting to think about Freya's plan and why this could really be Klaus' end, keep in mind that this would just be too easy. Freya really just needs Klaus out of her way to complete whatever her plan might be, she definitely doesn't want him dead just yet. At this point, she's taken everything from him — his daughter, his siblings — and I can't see her really wanting to see his death after everything she's been through with Dahlia.
It's only a matter of time before Klaus returns to The Originals and he's 100 percent going to be very pissed off. I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't any Mikaelsons left by the end of the series' third season. Because Klaus Mikaelson is not one to let betrayal walk off scot-free.
