Miles from Forks, Washington, two Cullens found each other again at a basketball game in Los Angeles. That's right, Twilight Saga stars Kellan Lutz (who played Emmett Cullen) and Ashley Greene (who played Alice Cullen) both attended the Lakers game last night and bumped into each other. Greene posted an Instagram photo of her and Lutz's Cullen/ Twilight reunion, getting fans' hearts in a flutter. "Reunited with Kel at the Lakers game her and Lutz's #lovethisone #family," Greene captioned the post. Aww! Has it really been three years since the release of the final Twilight movie?
The Twilight saga, based on the Stephanie Meyer novels of the same name, was first released on screen in 2008 and the final movie — The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 — made its bow in theaters in 2012. Since then, all of the actors have moved on to other roles. Kristen Stewart (who played Bella Swan) was recently in Still Alice oppoiste Academy Award-winner Julianne Moore. Robert Pattinson (who played vampire Edward Cullen) starred in Maps to the Stars and The Rover last year and recently got engaged to FKA Twigs. Greene recently was in Zach Braff's movie Wish I Was Here and Lutz starred in The Expendables 3 and The Legend of Hercules.
But even as life moves forward, it's nice to see that these stars remember their old co-stars. Despite some of the criticism the movies have received, Stewart said she's still proud of the Twilight films in a recent interview with E! News. "Anybody who wants to talk s--t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there's something there that I'm endlessly, and to this day, f--king proud of," she said. "My memory of it felt — still feels — really good."
