Best 'Horrible Bosses 2' Casting News Ever

by Tanya Ghahremani

Christoph Waltz has two Academy Awards to prove that his presence in any film always makes it that much more wonderful (or relatively tolerable, in the case of The Green Hornet). So, this is pretty much the best news ever for Horrible Bosses 2, which was already shaping up to be a great movie before: According to Variety, Christoph Waltz has joined the cast of Horrible Bosses 2 , and will be starring alongside Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, and Chris Pine. Also appearing is Waltz's Django Unchained co-star Jamie Foxx, which makes this news even better.

There's not much in-depth info on Waltz's character yet, but he'll reportedly be playing the father to Pine's character, and the two will be a "duo who terrorize the main characters as their new bosses." In other words, the new horrible bosses!

Production on the film is set to begin during the first week of Nov. in Los Angeles, and the film is slated to be released a little over a year later: Nov. 28, 2014.

If you've only ever seen Waltz in his roles in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained (if so, you should immediately stop whatever you're doing and go watch Carnage now), here's some proof that he's actually a very funny guy, and did comedy in Europe before making it big in the states:
