On Thursday, reports surfaced that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after allegedly causing a scene and appearing drunk. Shortly after the news came out, a couple of Richards' Real Housewives co-stars reached out with messages of support on Twitter. As for comment from the reality star herself, Bustle has reached out, but has not yet heard back.
As TheWrap reports, Richards' arrest has been confirmed by the Beverly Hills Police Department. Per the police department, she has been charged with "public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery on an officer after she allegedly refused to leave the hotel and kicked a police officer.” She was issued a citation, was released, and is set to appear in LAX Superior Court on May 10.
The police department also released the following statement: “Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest.”
I'm sure Richards' fellow RHOBH co-stars and family members have so many thoughts running through their heads, especially after the Season 5 incident where the long-time Housewife took pain medication given to her by ex-husband Monty Brinson. Throughout the entire season, her sobriety was questioned and even caused more drama between Richards and her sister/fellow housewife Kyle Richards.
Even with all the drama and tension that formed between the Housewives, some of Richards' fellow cast members are showing her nothing but support during this difficult time. For example, her best friend and co-star Brandi Glanville tweeted the following on Thursday:
Now, Glanville doesn't mention Richards directly, but given the timing, it seems she is showing support to her friend and promises to be there for her no matter what.
RHOBH star Eileen Davidson also tweeted a supportive message that reads:
As for Richards' family members and other fellow Bravolebrities, they have yet to respond to the arrest.
